This never gets old.. The Mighty Heirs!
A favorite song of mine and especially so over Easter!!And even so since I knew the young man who wrote the words of this beautiful song! Kingdom Heirs, you have done a wonderful job singing this song!
Best group besides the 3 Heath Brothers.
Excellent Matt Foley! Laughter does good like a medicine!
Best quartet ever put together, what harmonies.❤
Jeff you ain't right but I love yah lol
Great instrumental. They are really good.
Wow. That's a lot of music from a piano, bass guitar, and drums!
Miss you Steve , gone too soon😢
I agree
A good one- don’t subscribe, we have all their CDs
Dude locked the fence!!!
Wonderful song, and great job singing.
I knew Jeff when he was with the Anchormens
This is a powerful song ❤
Hard to find a better bass than Jeff.
I never get tired of listening to this song.
Amazing! I never get tired of listening to this song.
No one sing this song better than Jack Toney
What a great song! Sung to perfection by Arthur. Praise God for his marvelous grace!
I want you to know.....what an awesome song! These guys are great!
O
Amen! Beyond the Gates we'll be at home!
Outstanding! What a sound and Jeff is da man!
The band is really good
One of my favorite songs _-
I had this played at my dads funeral. He loved the KH and this song
One day I heard a preacher preach He said this world we're gonna leave And when we die we'll either go To heav'n above or hell below I bowed my head confessed my sin Invited Jesus to come in The savior turned me from the flames And with a word he locked the gates He locked the gates of hell behind me And then he threw the keys away He locked the gates, o give him glory There'll never come a day I'll have to enter such a place For the day that I got saved He locked the gates Now I live a life so free Knowing Jesus lives in me And when I fail I plead the blood Alive and well it's still enough Then when the devil comes my way And says in hell for sin I'll pay I point him to a rugged hill And say thanks to Jesus I never will He locked the gates of hell behind me And then he threw the keys away He locked the gates, o give him glory There'll never come a day I'll have to enter such a place For the day that I got saved He locked the gates
Good grief, that bass!
That last part there. The harmony. How they are all in synch. 😳❤❤❤
Who wrote this song? I'm guessing Rodney Griffin??
Z
Tenor sounds like Brian Free
Lord, I want you to know how sweet this journey's been Since I've been walking with you Climbing each mountain, walking each valley Every little river we go through Even if I stumble as I travel You will keep me as I go I'm looking ahead to my heavenly home And I want you to know I want You to know (Lord, I'm so thankful for the love you've given me) I want you to hear (My heart rejoicing since I'm not the man I used to be) I want you to see (That I've been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul) I wanna serve you wherever I go And I want you to know Lord, I want You to know I'll be a witness Wherever You lead I will go Ever proclaiming, telling Your story Helping the lost find their way home Knowing You are walking here beside me Keeps me moving toward my goal With heaven in view, I'd never turn back And I want you to know I want You to know (Lord, I'm so thankful for the love you've given me) I want you to hear (My heart rejoicing since I'm not the man I used to be) I want you to see (That I've been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul) I wanna serve you wherever I go And I want you to know I want You to know (Lord, I'm so thankful for the love you've given me) I want you to hear (My heart rejoicing since I'm not the man I used to be) I want you to see (That I've been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul) I wanna serve you wherever I go And I want you to know (To Know) I want You to know (Lord, I'm so thankful for the love you've given me) I want you to hear (My heart rejoicing since I'm not the man I used to be) I want you to see (That I've been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul) I wanna serve you wherever I go And I want you to know
He is Risen. Hallelujah!
Great singers. I love their songs m
Hallelujah. He locked the gates of hell behind me!
9 years and 365 days later...the Blood is still enough!
Gold City is an amazing Group who has helped me and Thank you for your music ❤️
I am glad He Locked the Gate!
Beaitiful group. I watch them too & their such a blessing.
This song never gets old.
Incredible group, amazing how they are not famous nationally. Some of the old groups like the Oaks and Statlers did gospel as well but became famous through country music. Maybe they should dip their toe in that.
glory to God for this beautiful song amen!
Oh nice he hits the C#1 live too
One of the best Songs
Yes
Love the words of this song. Arthur sings it beautifully and emotionally.
They are this generation's Cathedral Quartet
Definitely a great song! I was curious, though... Steve French was their Baritone Singer during this time, but I didn't see him singing in this song, and I didn't even see him. It's a good thing that their new Pianist (At that time), Andy Stringfield, could sing the Baritone line in this song. Just wondering if you noticed that too, as it refers to Steve French.
@@GospelTestimony Yes. I didn't say that he wasn't at this concert, only that he wasn't onstage on this song. It could've been, that he was taking a break. One thing that I'll say: It's a good thing, that their pianist, Andy Stringfield, knew how to sing Baritone, and that he knew the material! God always provides the perfect answer, and, in this case, Andy Stringfield was the perfect answer! God knows what we have need of...and his grace is sufficient.
Watched this videos a couple of times and more I watch more I like. The instrumental is just amazing. The drummer, bass and piano player do a job like nobody else do. The singers are the best.
I'd like to claim that most of the views for this video are mine 😇 have had this song on replay :) Powerful lyrics and amazing voices!! and that bass is on point 🙏🏽
